So when my parents were packing up to move to Australia they found some old slides that I'd never seen before. I've spent a delightfully absurd amount of time scanning and doctoring these photos (to get rid of the dust and make sure our skin tone isn't green). For those interested here's the link to those slides. I'm still looking for my baby pictures where I look like the Michelin Man.
Anyway, I was thinking that I wanted to do the same for the Gimbel family. Being that it's a good possibility that Edward and I are moving to Kentucky, I think some of the weekends that Uschi's visiting Grandma and Grandpa, I can go through your old photos, scan them, and put them online somewhere so everyone can have a copy of them.
...just a thought.
love you all,
Meridth

Meridth,
One year for Christmas, I told mom I would pay for her to scan all the old photos. A friend of mine was starting a new business that scanned old photos, and I thought I could kill two birds with one stone (help him out, help out us). I thought it was a great idea!
Claudia wanted to go through the photos before scanning them, so since that never happened...we never ended up scanning the pictures.
Moral of the story, just start scanning. Don't let Claudia tell you that she is going to go through the photos first.
Sorry Claudia, it is the truth!
Hee hee hee. Done and done.
Either one of you are welcome to scan whatever pictures you would like. There are a lot of them
Probably better to get them out there online than wait for me to get them scrapbooked. That may not happen before I die.
Claudia
Thanks Claudia... I'm beyond excited. I love obsessive projects like this.
