I thought that I'd post some additional house pictures even though I'm somewhat disappointed with the comments of my last post. Or should I say lack of comments. (Thanks, "Chard for being the only one!) I know it's summer and all but I'd thought more of you would respond.
Maybe you guys don't really want to visit me? Maybe I'm just needy? Maybe I'm bored? Whatever the reason, you all are my family, so... I think you're obligated. Step up, respond and visit soon. Included are shots of the dining room, kitchen, and living room.

Claudia agrees with Karl that your home is absolutely lovely. You and Brandon have done a wonderful job in making the house your own!
I think it will be a competition to see who can get there first, mom and dad, or Karl. We may have to come out over Labor Day after all!
Actually, things are starting to happen here. The builder says the garage will begin destruction either Friday or Monday. Ed will hate parking the cars on
the street!
Oh, by the way, Karl, this is one of those stupid English things that you could never know unless you had seen the word, but it's spelled either wainscoting or wainscotting, but is pronounced exactly as you had spelled it, and I always wanted wainscoting in our living room here in Decatur, and Dad always thought it was too much work.

Actually, Mother, the misspelling on wainscoting was an intentional jab at me. I misspelled it back in July when I was home. Karl, Emily and I googled it to find the correct spelling. That Karl is smarter than you think. ;-)
You'll have to be sure to take some photos of the garage destruction. I'll be interested to see how it looks with no garage.

Everything looks so great! I love all the beautiful stuff you have and you put everything together so well. Watch out Martha Stewart! We can't wait to come out and have you roast a pork butt for us for 8 hours, make mac and cheese, green bean casserole and a cobbler...WE LOVE SOUTHERN COMFORT FOOD!!
