A New Follower

Welcome cousin Mike Sumner to Gimbel-land.

Wayne and his family do a wonderful family newsletter that some of you have seen.  Mike's been the manager of that huge project, and I suggested to him that they start a family blog like we have.  This has been such a fun way for us to stay in touch, to gather information and share views and opinions, and I thought he might enjoy seeing what we do.  Mike, be sure and put us in touch with your family blog so we can add it to our list of favorites!

We LOVE our Utah family, and glad there is a way for us to all be closer.  By the way, be sure to congratulate Mike and Jeralyn on the arrival of their new little son!

Yeah for Sumners and yeah for blogs by Claudia! Thanks for all the great posts mom. We would also like a picture of your blood-vessel popped face and I think that you need to post the story of your sickies on the internet :) We are glad that you are better!

I hadn't heard anything about a popped blood vessel! The story needs to be told...

Thanks to Ed for telling Betsey all about my little brush with the flu on Thursday and Friday. The broken blood vessels all over my face are the result of violent heaving. I was pretty sick--and don't worry--I used the toilet and not the famous red bowl.

Now end of discussion on THAT! Ed is a brat for telling anyway. And I'm glad that I'm better, too, although now I'm worrying about how to teach my lesson tomorrow. I am teaching about how to add or subtract numbers from both sides of an equation to find the solution You're always trying to isolate the variable, and whatever you do to one side of the equation, you do exactly the same thing to the other side.

Sound familiar? Wish me luck!

I HATE that red bowl. Thanks to Karl ;) I'm glad you're feeling better Claudia. Violently throwing up does not sound fun.
