I have to say though that Getty Images has done some questionable things to get that massive archive of stock images. They certainly were big backers of the Orphan Works Act that essentially claimed reproduction rights on any image in which you couldn't find the copyright owner with "reasonable" effort. Thank goodness the bill was killed in 2008. But yeah, Getty Images finds a special place in my heart.
