Meridth's Annual Celebration of her Birth!

Meridth, What a wonderful daughter-in-law you have been! How can I express my love for you and my appreciation for how you've cared for my son. I think back to seven and a half years ago, when I met you for the first time, and I am so glad for the times we've had to get to know each other, and share thoughts and feelings. Ed and I hope you have the best day ever! What are your plans? Do you have anything special going on today, or did you celebrate earlier? We all want to know and we all want to wish you the happiest day!

Lots of love, Claudia and Ed

How not to waste 2 years.

Got my test results today and I was successful. I wish I could write that I got a B, for example, but the scale they use at the DLI doesn't translate to a standard academic rubric. For the record I got a 2 in listening and a 2+ in reading on a test that runs on a scale of 3 (I think) so it looks like Uncle Sam can't get out of that lucrative signing bonus he owes me.

Next stop, Texas.

PS: Thanks for the prayers and support!

Falling Behind

This weekend is my cousins wedding... so I just barely got to the computer and am scrambling to catch up to all the zillions of things that have happened. First off Ed, Brandon, Margie, Ryan, Emily HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I hope you all ate something delicious and did something fun, like construction or something.

Second off it was so good to see you all. I was definitely entertained this past weekend and it was nice to catch up. I especially loved how much Ashley and Chloe loved their new cousin Nora.

Casey.. you and your family are definitely in my thoughts and prayers.

I love you all and I will definitely post some of the pictures I took when I get back to San Diego.

Love,

Meridth
