So Edward is officially going to speak Arabic. He's totally excited! (Me too of course). It seems like I'll be able to move up to Monterey pretty soon, thank goodness! He's got an address in the barracks for now:

I just wanted to thank all you guys for being supportive. Thanks for being encouraging and thanks for the letters and packages that you guys have sent Edward. We love you guys very much.

Thanks for letting us know this information. I am anxious to hear that you are in Monterey, and that you guys are finally together again. I know it has been too long! Did Edward say what his days are like? Is he in class most of the time, or does he still have to do a lot of the drill and work that he did in Basic Training?

Unfortunately Edward's in phase 4 for the next 2 weeks which means communications are really restricted. So I got a 10 minute phone-call on Tuesday. But I'll let you know as soon as I know.
